FAMILY DIALOGUES

"I have always felt more or less like a burden for my family. As my grades aren't pleasing enough for my parents, I had a feeling of being unimportant in my family... However, this conference was eye opening. Through the panel discussion, I learnt that I actually do belong (to my family) and after giving the note that I wrote to my parents at the end of the conference, they explained their feelings to me and now we are on the same page! THANK YOU FAM CHAMPSSS!!!!"

why family matters to you, and to the society

ways to build relational resilience in your own home

"What surprised me was that there are actually many people who don't have very good relationships with their family. After thinking back, I realised that I have not been very close with my family although we live in the same house. We rarely spend time together and we usually just do our own things. So I hope to be able to become the change in my family, and to start organising more family events together so that we can grow closer to one another."

"The relationship with my family was okay but not that good. I wasn't home much because of frequent quarrels from communication problems.

FamChamps showed me your family will be there for you, no matter what.

I decided that maybe, it was time for me to change for the better. Now, my parents and I talk it out instead of quarrelling."
